The last Oktagon tournament in 2023 brought a busy schedule again. The event was full of suspense, celebrities and unexpected victories. The atmosphere of the tournament was spiced up by our beautiful Hot Peppers hostesses, who added a sexy spark to the whole evening.

In the main preliminary about Patrik Kincl (reigning middleweight champion of the Octagon up to 84 kg) was to fight with Vlasta Cep. Unfortunately, Kincl got injured before the fight and Slovak Vlasta Čepo fought with Polish Piotr Wawrzyniak - the champion of the Polish organization Babilon MMA. The interim title went to Piotr, who dominated the first two rounds and won the third round by TKO. Hopefully we can start looking forward to a fight between him and Patryk Kinclo in 2024.

Another highly anticipated match was the fight between Czech MMA legend Karlos "Terminator" Vemola and Slovak Samuel "Pirate" Kristofich. This long-awaited fight was supposed to finally put an end to the long-standing rivalry between the two fighters. It was also the farewell fight of Karlos with the O2 arena. Despite the Terminator having statistically more chances to win, the Pirate defeated him by knock-out to the chin after less than two minutes of the fight.

The highlight of the Oktagon tournament in Prague O2 Arena was the Tipsport Gamechanger finals, in which sixteen fighters won and shared a total of one million euros. In this final, Serbian Bojan Velickovic faced Greek Andreas Michailidis. Although Andreas clearly won the opening round on points, Bojan was the better player in the second round, eventually winning and taking home the trophy and 300,000 euros.

This evening was simply thrilling until the very end. And we are very happy that we could participate in this great atmosphere! Looking forward to the next time.
